Homeward Bound

After five days in the picu at University of Minnesota Children’s Hospital, Sloan and family were discharged and headed home back to Chicago.

Our little warrior has been through a lot and has daily breathing episodes, but with the help of at-home oxygen she’s fighting hard and still full of smiles when she is feeling good. Mom and Dad are the best care givers and advocates for their baby girl!

Please continue to keep the family in thoughts and prayers as Sloan is on immunosuppressants for the gene replacement therapy procedure where she also received a few incisions in her throat near her vocal chords to try to help her airway with breathing.
